BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh baseball team (14-8) picked up a walk-off 4-3 victory over the Saint Joseph's Hawks on Tuesday afternoon in the Liberty Bell Classic. The Mountain Hawks will play Delaware next Tuesday.

Kevin Mihalik went 3-for-5 at the plate for the Mountain Hawks. Logan Winchester also collected two hits and had one RBI. Cameron Phillips made the start for Lehigh, tossing five innings of four-hit ball and gave  up just two earned runs. Mike Burke picked up the win in five innings of stellar relief pitching.

After a one, two, three inning for both teams in the first, Lehigh hit the board in the second inning. Mihalik led off the inning with a double and then Logan Winchester drove him in on second straight two-bagger. Lehigh had a 1-0 lead after two innings of play.

In the fourth inning, Saint Joe's took the lead. Chris Hueth of the Hawks reached first base when he was hit by a pitch with one out. Then, Mike Plakis followed with a two-run homerun that just made it inside the right field foul pole. The Hawks had a 2-1 lead after four innings.

The Mountain Hawks got back on the board in the seventh inning. Ryan Gajdos reached first base in the seventh inning on an error by the first baseman. Andy Russell then scorched an RBI double that scored Gajdos and tied the game at two. Lehigh took a 3-2 lead when Kevin Mihalik's ground ball dribbler was thrown over the first baseman's head by the catcher. Russell scored on the play.

In the top of the ninth with two outs and a runner on second, Gajdos dropped a fly ball that was caught in the swirling winds. The Saint Joe's runner that was on second scored and tied the game at three.
