Lehigh to receive championship rings Wednesday at Stabler Arena

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh women's soccer team will receive its Patriot League Championship rings in a special halftime ceremony at Wednesday's women's basketball vs. Bucknell. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. in Stabler Arena. The Mountain Hawks are coming off a magical 2010 season capped off by their first Patriot League Championship in school history.

Led by first-year head coach Eric Lambinus, Lehigh wrapped up the 2010 season with an 11-5-4 record, 4-1-2 in Patriot League play. The Mountain Hawks went on to win the Patriot League Tournament as the No. 3 seed, topping No. 2 Bucknell, 1-0, in the semifinals before beating host (and No. 1 seed) Army in the championship game by the same final.

Lehigh then traveled to No. 8 nationally ranked Virginia in the NCAA Tournament, holding the Cavaliers scoreless until the 67th minute in a valiant effort that fell just short.
