Lemon named PL Female Field Athlete of the Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh women's track and field member junior E'Lana Lemon was named the Patriot League Female Field Athlete of the Week, as announced by the League on Monday. Lemon finished first in the weight throw at the Season Opener with an ECAC-qualifying distance of 17.57m, surpassing the qualifying distance needed of 16.00m. This is Lemon's fifth Field Athlete of the Week award in her career.Lemon was one of 10 Lehigh women's track and field athletes to finish first in an event at the Season Opener.
Lemon and the rest of the Mountain Hawks return to action Friday in the Fast Times Before Finals at the Rauch Field House on Goodman Campus. The Field Events will start at 6 p.m. and the Track Events at 6:30 p.m.
