Women's basketball mid-camp update

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh women's basketball team is just two weeks away from its season opener as the Mountain Hawks tip-off on Friday, November 11th at 3 p.m. at La Salle. Lehighsports.com got a chance to catch up with head coach Sue Troyan and senior Emily Gratch to see how camp is going as it hits the halfway point. They both talk about how the team is doing, the freshmen class and how everyone is excited to start the 2011-12 season.
“We are making progress week-by-week,” said Troyan. “Kids are picking up the system and learning it and becoming more accustomed to what's expected of them. I think we are well prepared and on track for where we want to be at this time of year.”
Gratch echoed those sentiments.
“I think we are having a lot of fun together and getting better each day and that's a good sign,” she said. “I think we are doing really well and right where we need to be right now.”
