The idea of Division I basketball players traveling overseas during the summer is nothing new.

For years, many have ventured beyond their home gyms either as part of school-sanctioned travel tours or individually as members of USA Basketball's elite Under-19 teams.

What is surprising, however, is learning that some of those players actually travel across the world leaving their basketballs and playbooks behind.

Which is just fine with Lehigh women's basketball coach Sue Troyan.
