BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh heads to Hamilton, New York this weekend to compete in the 2009 Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Tournament at Tyler’s Field.  The Mountain Hawks earned the second seed with a 15-11 victory over the tournament host Colgate on April 18; it marks the third consecutive season Lehigh has earned a berth in the postseason.  The Mountain Hawks will take on the number-three seed Navy in Friday’s semifinals, with top-seeded Colgate playing host to the No. 4 seed Bucknell Bison in the nightcap.  The semifinal winners will meet on Sunday in the 2009 Patriot League Championship.

Lehigh’s 213 goals this season are the second most in the 34-year history of the program, behind last season’s program record of 221 scores.  Those 213 goals are the second most in the Patriot League and the 12th most in America.  Five Mountain Hawks have scored at least 20 goals this season.
