BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh welcomes Colgate to town on Senior Day this weekend as the Mountain Hawks look to earn their third consecutive berth in the Patriot League Tournament. With a win on Saturday Lehigh clinches a spot in the 2009 Patriot League Tournament, set to take place in Hamilton, New York next weekend. The Mountain Hawks can also clinch a berth in the tournament should Holy Cross lose to American. Lehigh downed Monmouth on Wednesday night at home by a score of 14-9 to earn win number-ten on the season, while the Raiders enter Saturday’s contest with a perfect 5-0 record in the Patriot League, including a 12-7 win over Bucknell last weekend at home.

Colgate is the Patriot League’s hottest team, having won five straight overall, and ten of its last 11. The Raiders last loss came on March 21 in Eugene, Oregon as the Ducks downed the New York school 14-11. Brie Moran is the leading scorer for Colgate with 47 goals and 57 points, while Meghan Lawler (30 goals), Courtney Miller (28 goals) and Colleen Bubnack and Ashley Didio (27) are next in line.
