Lehigh announces women's soccer broadcast schedule

BETHLEHEM, Pa. –Lehigh Athletics is proud to announce its 2007 women’s soccer broadcast schedule. Several men’s and women’s soccer, field hockey, and volleyball games will be broadcast live this fall on the Lehigh web site as part of the Yahoo! Sports College Broadcast package. An industry leader in on-line broadcasts, Lehigh Athletics will make available over 200 events – including exclusive content – on its web site in 2007-08.

For the third consecutive season, virtually every broadcast will again feature live streaming video in addition to play-by-play audio at no additional charge. Lehigh has also teamed up with the Lehigh Valley’s largest cable television provider, Service Electric, to televise a number of home games this fall on its award-winning 2 Sports outlet – including an unprecedented three women’s soccer contests. In addition, Fox College Sports will re-broadcast the match vs. Michigan State nationally on a delayed basis. The broadcast team of Steve Lomangino, Ryan Chadwick, Jeff Tourial, and Robbie Aaron ’09 will call the action.

Parents, fans, and alumni around the world can tune in to the live action of a variety of Lehigh sporting events via Lehighsports.com. The on-line package also includes on-demand access to the Lehigh Sports Magazine – Lehigh’s weekly television show featuring highlights and interviews from coaches and student-athletes, including appearances by head women’s soccer coach Manny Oudin and team members.

All game broadcasts on-line are aired live, and are available on-demand for enjoyment at any time. A nominal monthly subscription fee of $4.95 is required to access the package.

The 2007 Lehigh women’s soccer broadcast schedule gets underway on Friday, August 31, when Lehigh takes on Quinnipiac in the season opener at 7:00 pm.
