BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Tickets still remain for No. 9 Lehigh’s nationally ranked showdown with No. 12 Penn State scheduled for Friday night at 7:00 at Stabler Arena. A renewal of one of Eastern wrestling’s oldest rivalries, The Mountain Hawks and Nittany Lions will grapple for the 94th time on Friday and the fourth time in the past 14 months.
The Mountain Hawks come off a sixth place finish at the Southern Scuffle last week in Greensboro, North Carolina. This will be the Mountain Hawks’ first dual since an 18-18 tie against then No. 4 Oklahoma on December 4 in Norman. Lehigh currently stands at 5-2-1 on the dual season.
Penn State comes in with a 5-2 record, including an 18-17 win over Lehigh in the finals of the Pennsylvania State Dual Championships, November 13 in State College.
