Lehigh holds in rankings, Trenge still No. 1

Bethlehem, PA - Lehigh maintains its No. 4 national ranking for the second week according to the latest poll released by InterMat Wrestling. The Mountain Hawks also have seven of their ten starters ranked at their weights, including six in the top ten.
Junior All-American Jon Trenge leads the rankings for Lehigh and the nation at 197 for yet another week. The rankings for freshmen Troy Letters, Derek Zinck, Cory Cooperman, and Travis Frick remain the same as well. Letters is ranked No. 3 at 165, while Zinck is ranked No. 5 at 157 by InterMat Wrestling and No. 8 by Amateur Wrestling News. Cooperman holds on to his No. 7 ranking at 133 for the third straight week. Frick, at 184, is once again ranked No. 9 by InterMat Wrestling and No. 10 by Amateur Wrestling News. Junior Brad Dillon at 174 and heavyweight Joe Sahl also retain their rankings from last week. Dillon is ranked No. 9 while Sahl is ranked No. 18 by Amateur Wrestling News.
There was no change in the top five teams in this week's poll, either. Oklahoma St retains the No. 1 spot, followed by Iowa, Minnesota, Lehigh and West Virginia.
This Friday and Saturday Lehigh competes in the EIWA's at Cornell. The championship rounds will be broadcast live on the Lehigh website and on 1230 AM, the Sports Monster, beginning at 6:00.
