Lehigh jumps into top five

Bethlehem, PA- Lehigh has moved up to a No. 5 national ranking in the latest set of polls released by both The Wrestling Mall and Intermat. The rankings come days after impressive wins against Navy (37-0), Brown (38-3) and Harvard (30-11) last Friday and Saturday.
Junior All-American Jon Trenge maintains his No. 2 ranking at 197. For the second week in a row at 184 Travis Frick is ranked No.11 for the Mountain Hawks while junior Brad Dillon edges his way to a No. 9 ranking at 174. Classmate Joe Sahl is ranked 15/19 among the nation’s heavyweights.
Seven of Lehigh's starters are nationally ranked in their weight classes including each of the four freshman who are ranked in the top 10. Cory Cooperman remains No. 8 at 133 while Derek Zinck at 157 is holding strong at No. 7. Ranked No. 3 in both polls is freshman Troy Letters at 165. Combined the fab four holds a record of 68-8 (.895) overall and 51-6 in duals. Letters' record currently stands at 24-1.
Lehigh returns to action tonight at Princeton at 7 p.m. The match will be broadcast live on the Lehigh website at www.lehigh.edu.
