Lehigh continues run in top 15

Lehigh's grapplers are ranked 11th in the nation in a poll released by InterMat Wrestling. This is the highest team ranking Lehigh has received from InterMat since November 21st when the team was ranked eighth. Lehigh has held a spot in the top 15 since January 16, 2001.
The Mountain Hawks are presently 6-3 on the 2001-2002 campaign, with their only three losses coming at the hands of 13th ranked Lock Haven, seventh ranked Ohio State and fourth ranked Michigan. Lehigh has won its last three matches, defeating Penn State 32-6, Hofstra 29-6 and Princeton 34-6.
Leading Lehigh are its five nationally ranked wrestlers. InterMat Wrestling ranked sophomore Jon Trenge (197) second, senior Chris Vitale (165) fifth, senior Rob Rohn (184) tenth, freshman Mike Pirozzola (149) 13th, junior Warren Stout (157) 20th.
Lehigh will look to continue the winning streak as it travels to Columbus, Ohio for the Cliff Keen National Dual Meet Championships at Ohio State. The Mountain Hawks will face third ranked Oklahoma in the first round of the Duals on Saturday January 19th at 9:00.
