WBB clinic allowed local youth to improve skills

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh’s women’s basketball team hosted its fourth Christmas City Classic clinic on Thursday afternoon with 50 girls from the ages 7-14 attending the clinic in Stabler Arena. The participants were allowed to watch the Lehigh women's team practice; they also received instruction in learning different skills such as shooting, passing, dribbling and rebounding.

Participants also took part in a trivia contest, a question and answer session and an autograph session with members of Lehigh’s team. Everyone on hand received a ticket for either Saturday afternoon’s or Sunday afternoon's games.

The Mountain Hawks will host Brown in the opening round of the Christmas City Classic on Saturday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. at Stabler Arena. Rhode Island and Stony Brook will square off in the other opening round game at 1 p.m. The consolation and championship games will be held on Sunday with the consolation game at 1 p.m. and the championship game at 3:30 p.m.
