Rich receives honorable mention

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Mountain Hawks junior center Melissa Rich received an honorable mention for her performance Saturday against Saint Joseph’s, as announced by the Patriot League on Monday. Rich had a game high 17 points and a team high seven rebounds in Lehigh’s last second loss to the Hawks. She also played a team high 31 minutes and shot 5-of-6 from the free throw line.

This is the second time in her career Rich has earned an honorable mention. In last year’s season opener against LIU, she recorded a team high 12 points and added five rebounds in Lehigh’s 57-36 win.

The Mountain Hawks will look to even their record on Saturday, when they travel Fordham. The game is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. and can be heard on WLVR-FM and Lehighsports.com with streaming content provided by Yahoo! Sports.
