Callan named league's player of the week

Callan is one of three different Lehigh players to win the award this year, alongside fellow starters Adrienne Blount and Sara Ellis, both juniors.
In two games last week, both Lehigh wins, Callan averaged 13.5 points and 13 rebounds per game. She connected on 56% of her shot attempts and 82% of her free throw opportunities.
In Wednesday’s win over
Through Lehigh’s first 14 games, Callan leads the Patriot League and ranks fifth nationally on the glass, averaging 11.9 rebounds per night. She ranks second on the team and fourth in the Patriot League in scoring, averaging 15.1 points per game. Her field goal percentage of 51.9% ranks second in the league.
Lehigh (6-8 overall, 1-0 Patriot League) returns to the court on Tuesday, as the Mountain Hawks host Navy in a Patriot League showdown at Stabler Arena. Tip-off is set for 7:05 pm, with live streaming video and audio available at lehighsports.com. Award-winning Service Electric 2 Sports will televise the game, and WLVR-FM will provide a live radio broadcast.
