Mountain Hawks ring in the new year with trip to Yale

With the onset of Patriot League play less than a week away, Lehigh kicks off the New Year with the first of two consecutive games against Ivy League opponents. On Monday night, the Mountain Hawks visit Yale. Last time out, Lehigh dropped an eight-point decision to

Lehigh has not played at Yale since the 1998-99 season. The Mountain Hawks are 8-9 all-time against Yale, thanks to last year’s 70-66 LU victory in the opening round of the Christmas City Classic. Prior to last year’s showdown, the two teams had not met since the 1999-2000 season, when the Mountain Hawks topped the Bulldogs by a 72-69 count at Stabler Arena.
