Ellis named Patriot League player of the week

In three games last week, Ellis averaged almost 24 points per game, connecting on over 45% of her shots. The captain connected on 17 three-point field goals last week – including a school-record eight in the win over Monmouth on Monday night. She scored 26 points against Monmouth, matching her career high, and followed that effort up with 26 more against
With 136 career three-point field goals, Ellis, the Patriot League preseason player of the year in 2005-06, currently ranks fifth all-time in Lehigh history. She needs only 23 more three-pointers to become Lehigh’s career leader.
