Lehigh returns to action Tuesday night at Princeton

Lehigh takes to the road for the second time in less than a week, as the Mountain Hawks meet their third consecutive Ivy League foe in the Tigers of Princeton. Lehigh is looking to bring with it the momentum from Sunday’s eight point win over Brown at Stabler Arena. On that day, five Lehigh players scored in double figures. Patriot League player of the week Adrienne Blount scored 16, while classmate Emily Geosits sunk five three-pointers in putting forth a 15-point performance.

As a team, Lehigh leads the Patriot League in assists per game, with 17.5 helpers per contest so far this season. Claire Sullivan leads the league in assists per game at 7.0 per contest.

Princeton returns to action to tip off the home portion of its schedule, after a 58-46 loss at Saint Joseph’s on Friday. Becky Brown led the Tigers with 15 points and seven rebounds in the setback. As a team, the Tigers shot just 32% on the night, including an 0-for-12 effort from beyond the three-point arc.

Princeton leads the all-time series between these two schools, 10 games to eight. However, Lehigh has won six of the last seven meetings between the two schools, including a 56-53 win at Jadwin in 2003 that snapped a four-game slide for the Brown and White.
