DePalo recognized for academic and athletic success

To be eligible for the award, individuals must be at least a sophomore, as well as a starter or key reserve on her team with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.20. CoSIDA’s District II consists of schools in In the classroom, DePalo boasts a 3.30 GPA as a marketing major in Lehigh’s On the court, the tri-captain has done it all for the Mountain Hawks. DePalo currently leads the team and Patriot League in scoring with 17.9 points per game. She currently ranks fourth in all-time scoring at Lehigh, and sixth in school history in rebounding. DePalo is sixth in Patriot League history with 127 career blocked shots. DePalo’s recognition on the All-District team marks the fifth straight season that at least one Mountain Hawk has been represented on the squad. Academic success is nothing new to the women’s basketball team, as the team posted a 3.38 team GPA last fall. That mark tied the women’s soccer squad for tops in the Lehigh Athletics Department. The Mountain Hawks (17-7 overall, 9-2 Patriot League) have clinched home court advantage for at least the first two rounds of the Patriot League postseason tournament.
