Ellis garners Patriot League recognition

In the Mountain Hawks’ only tilt last week, Ellis knocked down a personal best eight field goals en route to a career high 23 points as Lehigh downed visiting
Ellis’ third three pointer of the night was also the 62nd of her young career, propelling her into a tie for tenth place on Lehigh’s career three-point field goals made list. The Mountain Hawks are off to a 5-2 start in 2004-05, thanks in large part to Ellis’ efforts on the court. She has scored at least nine points in every contest, and has connected on at least one three-pointer each night. Ellis ranks second on the team in scoring (13.9 points per game) and assists (4.0 per contest). She leads the team in three’s, draining 19 shots from beyond the arc. Overall, Ellis is shooting 46% overall and 42% from long range. Lehigh returns to the court Monday night, as the Mountain Hawks play host to Fairleigh Dickinson at Stabler Arena.
