Seven named to league's Academic Honor Roll

Bethlehem, PA – Lehigh placed seven student-athletes from the women’s basketball team on the Patriot League’s Academic Honor Roll for the spring semester led by junior Mary Frances Hynoski, a marketing major. She registered an impressive 3.87 grade point average (GPA) during the spring semester. To be eligible for the Honor Roll, a student-athlete must obtain at least a 3.2 GPA and be awarded a varsity letter in his or her sport. Other Mountain Hawks joining Hynoski on the Honor Roll are sophomore Jenny Callan (Psychology/Sociology, 3.28), junior Jessica DePalo (Marketing, 3.45), freshman Sara Ellis (Engineering, 3.66), sophomore Dawn Gorynski (Arts and Sciences, 3.38), senior Teniece Johnson (Marketing, 3.83), and senior Jana Ransom (Finance/Marketing, 3.35). In all, 49 women’s basketball players throughout the Patriot League were selected to the Honor Roll, led by Navy senior Courtney Davidson, who was named the Scholar-Athlete of the Year award winner. 2004 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll Name Class Major GPA So.
