After a 17-day layoff, the Mountain Hawks return to action as Lehigh heads south to Richmond to do battle with the Rams of Virginia Commonwealth. Both teams are off to a bit of a slow start, with each team posting only one victory in 2002. Lehigh has not played since a tough 62-61 loss at Columbia on December 3. That night, the Mountain Hawks came up short despite a career best 23 points from junior Jana Ransom. Meanwhile the Rams are 1-5. Last time out, VCU lost to Marquette by a 74-63 score in Richmond. Kristine Austgulen led the way for the Rams, scoring 17 points and pulling down 18 rebounds. Virginia Commonwealth has won both previous meetings between these two clubs, including a 76-65 win in Richmond two seasons ago. Tip-off is set for 7:00 from the ALLTEL Pavilion at the Siegel Center, with radio coverage getting underway at 6:45.
