Mountain Hawks head for the Big Apple

Lehigh returns to the hardwood Tuesday night as the Mountain Hawks visit Columbia in a non-league match-up. The contest kicks off the first of six straight away from Stabler Arena for Lehigh (1-3), who leads the all-time series 7-1. The Lions are 3-0 in 2002, and are coming off a 78-63 win over Colgate on Sunday afternoon. Columbia is led by sophomore Susan Kern’s 13.7 points per contest. Lehigh’s scoring leader is senior captain Anne Tierney, who has averaged 13 points and 6.5 rebounds per contest through the first four games. Tip-off is set for 7:00 from Columbia’s Levien Gym in New York, with radio coverage getting underway at 6:45.
