Binghamton invades Stabler Arena

Lehigh preps to host Binghamton tonight at Stabler Arena in a non-league showdown. The Mountain Hawks enter the contest with a 3-3 record, having picked up a win in their last outing on Saturday night against Columbia. Sophomore Jana Ransom poured in a career-high 21 in the win for Lehigh. The Bearcats of Binghamton have won 6 in a row after losing opening night at Seton Hall. Binghamton is off to a 6-1 start in its first season at the Division I level. Last season, the Bearcats defeated Lehigh 88-70 at West Gym in Vestal, NY, in the only previous meeting between the two schools. The Mountain Hawks will look for their second straight win at Stabler Arena, as they play game two of a four-game home stand. Wednesday’s game can be heard live in the Lehigh Valley on WLVR (91.3 FM), and on the Internet at www.lehigh.edu, beginning with the pregame show at 5:15.
