The players and coaches made their annual trip to the pediatrics ward at St. Luke’s Hospital on Friday, going from room to room to hand out basketballs and autographed posters to the children in the wing. The Mountain Hawks brightened up the children’s days just by spending some time with them and their families as they came around to doll out the presents.
“My favorite part about visiting the kids is seeing their eyes light when we enter the room and give out our gifts,” junior guard Kristen Dalton said. “If they haven't just woken up from a nap, they're usually really surprised.
