Seven Mountain Hawks named to honor roll

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh placed seven student-athletes on the 2007 Patriot League Rowing Academic Honor Roll, released on Monday. Junior Jacqueline Cross led the way for the Mountain Hawks, as she posted a perfect 4.0 grade point average for the semester. To be eligible for the honor roll, a student-athlete must obtain at least a 3.2 GPA and be awarded a varsity letter in his or her sport.

Other Mountain Hawks that joined Cross on the honor roll were Adrienne Smith, Eleen Sweet, Li-Ping Chew, Sarah Michaels, Christine Porcaro, and Rebecca Guzman.

In all, 96 student-athletes were named to the honor roll, led by Colgate’s Kinsey Carlson who was named the 2007 Patriot League Rowing Scholar Athlete of the Year.
