Julian named All-League

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Patriot League announced its All-League team on Wednesday and junior Denise Julian was the Mountain Hawks lone representative on the 11-woman squad. Lehigh recently competed in the second annual Patriot League Rowing Championships and finished fourth out of the five teams in attendance. Julian was a member of Lehigh’s varsity eight boat which finished in a time of 6:49.488.

The All-League team consisted of athletes chosen by each of the league’s head coaches in the following format: Coaches will select their own representatives for the All-League team based on their institution’s finish in the first “varsity 8” race. Each placing boat will select the following number of student-athletes:

First-place boat: Three rowers, One coxswain

Second-place boat: Three rowers

Third-place boat: Two rowers

Four-place boat: One rower

Fifth-place boat: One rower

Julian and Lehigh return to action on May 12 when the Mountain Hawks travel to Philadelphia to compete in the Dad Vail Championship along the Schuylkill River.
