Lehigh dominates in win over Bucknell

Lehigh demonstrated its authority Sunday on the Lehigh dominated the day from start to finish. The novice men led off the day with an impressive effort outdistancing Bucknell by 40 seconds. The women’s varsity eight followed up with a 36 second victory over Bucknell. The winning boat lineup was: coxswain-Megan Vasta, stroke seat-Kirsten Lileqvist, 7 seat-Rachel Latinsky, 6-seat Cara Skola, 5 seat- Margaret O’Shea, 4 seat- Denise Julian, 3 seat- Sabrina Slater, 2 seat- Morgan White, bow seat- Pam Lee. The varsity men’s eights races continued the sweep with Lehigh placing first, second, third and fifth. Lehigh’s winning boat was: coxswain-Dave Highhill, stroke seat-Matt Kampner, 7 seat-Mike Villano, 6 seat Kirstin Rhoads, 5 seat- Brian Drummond, 4 seat- Chris Hause, 3 seat- Mark Chandler, 2 seat- John Winter, bow seat- Matt Galuska.
