Lehigh finishes up season at Dad Vail

The Lehigh Crew team ended its season this weekend at the Dad Vail Regatta in Philadelphia. The competition was fierce with 104 teams attending the two day regatta, and Friday produced some very positive results with six boats going on to race in either the semifinals or finals on Saturday. The men's varsity eight and novice eight as well as the women's varsity eight and novice eight each advanced to the semifinals. Although racing went well on Friday, Saturday's semifinals proved too much as each of these four boats missed qualifying for the grand finals.

The varsity lightweight women were able to place fifth in their grand finals ahead of Rochester. The novice men's lightweight eight brought home bronze medals behind first place St. Joseph's and second place Georgia Tech.
