Mountain Hawks open home schedule on Saturday

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh rowing team opens its 2009 home schedule on Saturday, October 3 as the Mountain Hawks welcome Iona College, Loyola College and Franklin & Marshall to the Steiner/Steinberg Boathouse in Allentown. Six Lehigh crews will race including the men’s and women’s varsity 8, men’s and women’s second varsity 8 and men’s and women’s freshmen/novice 4. The opening race will get underway at 10:00 AM with the final race slated for 12:05 PM.

Lehigh had a great start to its fall season last weekend as the women’s varsity 8 crew earned a medal at the Head of the Potomac. This weekend will allow the entire Mountain Hawks crew to see competitive action for the first time this season.
