Rowing program to host Senior Day on Oct. 24

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh Rowing program will host its annual Senior Day on Friday, October 24 inside of the University Center, located on the Asa Packer Campus. The day will get underway at 9:00 AM with registration followed by a series of informational sessions geared towards educating potential student-athletes about rowing at Lehigh University, as well as a tour of the Asa Packer Campus and a tour of Lehigh’s boathouse. 9:00 AM – Registration
9:30 AM – Introductory remarks from Joe Sterrett, Dean of Athletics
9:45 AM – Presentation by Bruce Bunnick, Senior Associate Director of Admissions
Topic: Admission to Lehigh University
10:30 AM – Presentation by Liz Meltzer, Director of Rowing
Topic: Lehigh Rowing, Recruiting Process, Question and Answer
11:00 AM – All Senior prospects will attend a class
Parent presentation by Joann Deppert, Associate Director of Financial Aid
Topic: The Financial Aid Process at Lehigh University
12:00 PM – Lunch on your own (due to NCAA regulations, Lehigh is not permitted to provide lunch. A list of options will be provided)
1:15 PM – Asa Packer Campus Tour
2:00 PM – Rowers panel consisting of a male and female representative of each class
Question and Answer with current Lehigh University Rowing student-athletes
3:30 PM – Closing Remarks
4:00 PM – Boathouse Tour during freshman and Varsity practice
