Coming into
Fuel continues to be a bizarre source of entertainment. You know, the little game you play betting whether or not it is going to clear $120 to fill ‘er up. The answer to that should be pretty easy tomorrow as I hope to be in the land of the Governator.
Well that is all for now, a relatively uneventful day but making great progress. So good people remember to always eat dessert first, grin like a dog, wonder aimlessly, pound your conch as often as you can, and buy your books with cash. Good Night everybody.

Day Two… March 31
After having had a few milestones yesterday such as reaching the highpoint on I-80 east of the
The musical selections courtesy of the rowers at Lehigh continue to surprise and entertain. Sophomore Diana Hank went to what must have been great lengths to create themed mixes whether it be songs referencing the names of fellow Lehigh oarsman or tunes written in honor of a color.
One of the biggest surprises today was the selections compiled by freshman Michael Brunken. Perhaps one of the finest mixes heard to date. To best describe the surprise my ears had, close your eyes. Imagine that you are about to see Lewis Black live on stage. He walks out, waves to the crowd, and without warning breaks into song. Black then proceeds to belt out rock love ballads. That my friends, is near to what I experienced this morning.
I drove across
Now for those of you who have never experienced a trucks meal let me shock you. Among the many things you may see on the tables near by the most noticeable item is the beverage. Day One, Heading West… March 30
After a successful weekend at the Murphy Cup, Lehigh Rowing is heading west to

Anyone who has driven cross country, especially by themselves, knows that you can only listen to the same music or bad local radio so much and finding new tunes is vital. With that said in the past years I have requested that members of the team make a mix tape or two; burned CD these days… perhaps soon we will just be exchanging play lists.
When asked to do that the members of Lehigh Rowing stepped up and have offered me a plethora of tunes. Driving across
Again not that we want to imagine this event but what happened if you were in an accident, immobilized, but stereo still blasting. Do you want the rescue workers arriving to provide aid and to extricate you from the vehicle but can’t get past that bizarre choice in music?
Continuing west near the
Two deer. All I can say is OH MY GOODNESS. That alone should be enough to describe the sight.
The night ended with a misty rain, the usual highway dinner, and me questioning my logic in once again committing to nearly two weeks of solitary confinement. Tomorrow should be an interesting day as I will be contending with
