Mountain Hawks to host Lehigh Valley Shootout

Bethlehem, PA – The Mountain Hawks will get some fall competition when they host the first annual Lehigh Valley Shootout on Saturday, October 12th. Lehigh Valley Shootout Schedule
Other teams taking part in the event include Villanova, Holy Cross, Drexel, Fairfield, Colgate, Lafayette and Bucknell. Each team will play four games in the shootout, which will take place at the Goodman Campus.
The Brown & White play all four of their games on the turf field at the Ulrich Sports Complex. The Mountain Hawks will take on Villanova at 11:00 AM, Holy Cross at 12:15, and Drexel at 1:30 and Fairfield at 2:45. Other contests will be played on three grass fields adjacent to Goodman Stadium.
Second year coach Chris Wakely organized the event. "We are very excited to be bringing eight Division I programs to the Lehigh Valley. This will provide fantastic exposure for us and a growing segment of high school lacrosse in the area," Wakely said. "We’d like to expand the event in the coming years and make it one of the premiere fall events."
