Lehigh tops in local-school tournament

Allentown, PA—The Mountain Hawks had five of its six entries shoot 80 and under in winning the Lehigh Valley Men’s Golf Tournament at the Lehigh Country Club with local schools Lafayette, Moravian, and Muhlenburg. Lehigh finished with a team score of 397, 15 strokes ahead of Muhlenburg and Lafayette. The Mules claimed second on a sixth-man tiebreaker. Lehigh’s Bradley Ispass (78) and Drew Levine (79) finished 4th and 5th, respectively, while Muhlenburg’s Matt Berman was the medallist with a 76.
The golf team participates this weekend at the Rutherford Invitational at Penn State.
