Five Mountain Hawks named to Academic Honor Roll

Bethlehem, PA – Lehigh placed five student-athletes from the baseball team on the Patriot League’s Academic Honor Roll for the spring semester led by senior Matt Nusinov, a mechanical engineering major. He registered a perfect 4.00 grade point average (GPA) during the spring semester and the 2004 season. To be eligible for the Honor Roll, a student-athlete must obtain at least a 3.2 GPA and be awarded a varsity letter in his or her sport. Other Mountain Hawks that joined Nusinov were sophomore Jon Andres (Business/3.46), freshman Matt Capell (Business/3.58), sophomore Dan Russell (Engineering/3.50), and sophomore Mike Sandonato (Business/3.88). In all there were 46 baseball players throughout the Patriot League selected to the Honor Roll, led by Army junior catcher Schuyler Williamson, who was named the Scholar-Athlete of the Year award winner. 2004 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll Name Class Major GPA So.
