Lehigh places eight on baseball Honor Roll

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh placed eight student-athletes on the 2008 Patriot League Baseball Academic Honor Roll, it was announced on Wednesday. A total of 61 baseball student-athletes from around the league were honored, led by Bucknell’s Jason Buursma who was chosen as the Scholar Athlete of the Year. To be eligible for the honor roll, a student-athlete must obtain a 3.2 grade point average and be awarded a varsity letter.

Junior Geoff Campbell led the Mountain Hawks with a 3.92 grade point average during the 2008 spring semester. He was joined on the Honor Roll by William Alec, Andrew Berger, Austin Borden, Bill Goldman, Patrick Groome, Joe Matteo, and Matt Reitz.
