Eleven Mountain Hawks named to Honor Roll

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh placed 11 student-athletes on the 2006 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league on Monday. Sophomore Christy Smith led the with a 3.88 grade point average, while Caitlin Carney, Kara Chalanick, Amy Chamberlain, Sarah Fudin, Lissy King, Tess McGrath, Eileen Miller, Vienna Pharoan, Kyle Roth and Seana Smith were also honored. To be eligible for the honor roll, a student-athlete must obtain at least a 3.2 GPA and be a starter or key reserve in his/her sport.

In all there were 79 student-athletes named to the women’s lacrosse honor roll, led by American’s Moriah Linnell, who was named the 2006 Scholar Athlete of the Year.
