Mountain Hawks outlast archrival Lafayette in Easton

Lehigh jumped out to an early lead as DePalo scored six of the Mountain Hawks first eight points. The Mountain Hawk defense held the Leopards to just 6-of-24 shooting in the first 20 minutes as the Brown and White took a 25-15 lead into halftime.

DePalo led all scorers with 26; she was the only Mountain Hawk in double figures. Toliver finished with nine points while Sara Ellis chipped in with eight. Mary Frances Hynoski only scored four, but the senior helped out in other ways, tying career highs with 13 rebounds and seven assists. Hynoski also tied a season high with four thefts.
