Why Lehigh?: “I came to Lehigh to not only play highly competitive Division I basketball, but to receive an education.  The campus, coaches and team were also a major factor in my decision.”

 

As a junior … won the inaugural Lehigh Women’s Superstars Challenge, a made-for-television event pitting a student-athlete from each varsity sport against one another … on the court, battled through injuries to appear in 13 games, making 11 starts … was 6-for-10 shooting (personal best 13 points) with a career best seven assists and seven rebounds, and a steal in Lehigh’s win at Army (1/25) … five rebounds came on the offensive end that afternoon … scored eight points, dished out three assists, and came away with two steals in Lehigh’s win over Mt. St. Mary’s (12/31) … led the team with a 3.87 grade point average in the spring semester … member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

 

As a sophomore …set a career high with 13 points in the season opener against Santa Clara (11/22)…grabbed a career best seven rebounds (four offensive and three defensive) and added five steals against Columbia (12/3)…dished out six assists when the team faced Ball State in the championship of the Christmas City Classic (12/1)…went a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line at Duquesne…tied for fourth on the team averaging three rebounds per contest…missed several league games and saw limited minutes in many others due to injury.

 

As a freshman … appeared in 21 games off the bench … pulled down a career best five rebounds – including three off the offensive glass against Stony Brook (1/2) … came away with two steals and dished out two assists (both career highs) with no turnovers in five minutes of action at Bucknell (1/26) … missed final four contests of the regular season after suffering a deep bone bruise in her knee in a win over Navy (2/9).

 

In high school … missed most of senior season due to broken foot … Reading Eagle’s Lower Anthracite Female Athlete of the Year in 2000 … established new school records in points scored (1,543) and steals (509) … USA Today honorable mention All-American as a junior … Associated Press first team All-State as a junior … first team all-state in soccer, and was named to the high school All-American Team in 2000 … team MVP as a senior in softball.
