Lehigh's representative in the National Football Foundation’s National Hall of Fame, Pat Pazzetti was an All-American quarterback in 1912 as chosen by writers in New York, Philadelphia, Boston, Baltimore, Buffalo, Washington D.C., and Collier's Magazine.18829

Pazzetti led the team to a 9-2 record that season, gaining a reputation as a fine passer in an era when that part of the game was greatly overshadowed by the runners. Passing and running the offense wasn't the only thing that Pazzetti excelled at. He was also an excellent punter and placekicker. Among his better games was when he threw two touchdown passes during losses to Jim Thorpe and the Carlisle Indians.

Pazzetti was also a pitcher for the Lehigh baseball team, where one year Lehigh beat Lafayette three times in one season. In 1911, he was captain of the team which went 55-1. He was also captain of the very successful 1912 squad.

Pazzetti, who worked at Bethlehem Steel after graduating from Lehigh, was very involved in the community. He served as president of the Boys Club for 16 years and also was involved with the St. Luke's Hospital Cancer Crusade and Lehigh Valley Safety Council. He was married to the former Margaret Albright and had three children. He died in 1972.
