VESTAL, N.Y. – Lehigh women's soccer kicked off the 2026 campaign on Thursday evening on the road against the Binghamton University Bearcats. The Mountain Hawks were bested by a score of 3-0.

Binghamton (1-0) started the game fast, generating three shots within the first seven minutes, however none of which were on goal. Lola Wojciechowski gave Lehigh (0-1) an opportunity when her first shot of the season went wide in the 29th minute. The Bearcats struck first in the 36th minute off the foot of Jahkaya Davis, giving Binghamton a 1-0 lead entering the locker room.

Davis netted her second goal of the evening to open the second half, scoring in the 53rd minute to put the Bearcats ahead 2-0. Binghamton extended their advantage to three goals when Chelsea Donaldson scored in the 72nd minute.

Wojciechowski put up two shots while Aminah Baruwa recorded one for the Mountain Hawks in Thursday's loss. Goalkeeper Chloe Zipprich tallied one save in her Lehigh debut.

The Mountain Hawks return to action for the team's home opener on Sunday, August 16 at 3 p.m. against Villanova.
