Luscomb, Fingall Selected to Preseason All-Patriot League Team; Mountain Hawks Picked Fourth

BETHLEHEM, Pa - The Patriot League announced its 2026 Women's Volleyball Preseason Poll and All-Patriot League Team Wednesday, with Lehigh graduate student Natalie Luscomb and senior Alysia Fingall earning preseason honors. The Mountain Hawks were picked fourth in the league.
"Super excited to be honored fourth by the coaches. Alysia and Natalie work very hard and deserve every honor they receive," said Lehigh head coach Shawn McLaughlin.Â
Luscomb earns Preseason All-Patriot League recognition for the second straight season. In 2025, she led Lehigh with 253 kills, averaging 2.75 kills per set while adding 63 total blocks. She was also named Second Team All-Patriot League a season ago and in 2024.Â
Fingall earned her first career Preseason All-Patriot League selection after recording 136 kills, 104 digs and 20 total blocks in 2025. She was named Patriot League Player of the Week on Sept. 9 after leading Lehigh with 39 kills and a .301 hitting percentage across three matches at the James Madison Invitational.Â
Lehigh will open the 2026 season at home as the Mountain Hawks host the Steel Classic at Grace Hall. Lehigh will welcome Gardner-Webb Friday, Aug. 28, at 11 a.m., before facing Cleveland State at 6:30 p.m. The Mountain Hawks will close out the weekend Saturday, Aug. 29, at 4 p.m. against Morgan State.
