2026 INDOOR: Competed in eight meets for Lehigh... at Fast Times Before Finals, DeForest placed seventh in the long jump (5.02m) and third in the Triple Jump (10.51m) ... at the Moravian Hounds Classic, DeForest placed fourth in the Long Jump (5.33m) and was the runner-up in the Triple Jump (10.61m) ... placed fifth in the Long Jump (5.09m) and fourth in the Triple Jump (10.54m) in Lehigh’s win over Lafayette... at the Fastrack Invitational, DeForest placed 13th in the Long Jump (4.89m)… set a personal record in the triple jump (10.87m) to place third and placed sixth in the long jump (5.09m) at the Philadelphia Metro… placed 13th in the long jump (5.15m) and 15th in the triple jump (10.83m) at the Patriot League Championships.
BEFORE LEHIGH
DeForest boasts an impressive resume coming into Bethlehem. The Crofton High School graduate earned a number of accomplishments both on and off the track. DeForest was a five-time AACPS County champion, as well as a MPSSAA Individual Region champion. She was named to the Capital Gazette All County First Team four times, and was a three-time team MVP. Academically, DeForest was on the Superintendent Honor Roll and was awarded the MPSSAA Scholar Athlete Achievement Award for all four years. She was a member of National Honor Society, the Vice President of the French National Honor Society, and on the NFHCA Scholar Academic Squad with “Scholars of Distinction Award”.  DeForest was also a key member of her high school Field Hockey team, which won the 2022 MPSSAA 3A State Championship, the MPSSAA 4A State Championship in 2023 and 2024, and the AACPS County Champions in 2024.
