Why Lehigh?  “Lehigh has the perfect combination for me because I wanted to come to a school where I can play sports and be challenged academically at the same time.  The campus is beautiful."

 

Player Profile:  As a freshman … went 3-0 at third flight singles … posted a combined record of 8-6, including 2-3 in Patriot League action at fourth, fifth and sixth flight singles … went 1-2 at second flight doubles … dominated competition in her first season at third flight doubles, going 11-2, 3-1 in the Patriot League … in secondary school … was trained by the former coach of Lindsay Davenport … team captain   … compiled an overall record of 52-3 in singles and an equally impressive 20-1 record in doubles … had a USTA ranking of eighth in the state of Missouri and 19th in the Missouri Valley … Conference Singles Champion in ‘99, ‘01, and ‘02 going undefeated each year … District Doubles Champion in 2001…student council officer for four years and part of the Blue and Gold Pep Club for three years … DECA member in 2001 and ’02 … volunteer for the Special Olympics.

 

Personal:  Daughter of Jane and Gordon Long … has one younger brother, Adam, who is an excellent golfer … enjoys traveling
