WHY LEHIGH? “It has what I wanted, academically and athletically.”
AS A SENIOR (2018): Did not see action due to injury. Served as team manger.
AS A JUNIOR (2017): Did not see action due to injury.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2016): Played in one game (the season opener at Monmouth) before missing the rest of the season due to injury.
AS A FRESHMAN (2015): Saw action in 12 games as a freshman … Got into Patriot League games vs. Holy Cross (9/19), at Boston University (10/17), against Lafayette (10/21) and at American (10/30) … Made collegiate debut in the season opener vs. Mount St. Mary’s (8/21).
BEFORE LEHIGH: Four-year starter and two-year captain at the Hun School of Princeton, along with Lehigh women’s soccer classmate Ashley Maziarz … In 2014, Sacco was on the Trentonian All-Prep first team, Mercer 33 County team and the Mid Atlantic Prep League All-Academic team … Played in the Mercer County All-Star Game and was named the MVP … The Hun School also recognized her as the team MVP … Also a three-time All-State honoree and was named to the 2012 and 2014 Star Ledger All-Prep teams … Finished her senior year with a NJISAA Prep A State Championship … Plays club soccer for Coach Dan Mannella with FC Bucks Fury ECNL, where she helped the team to a 2014 ECNL American Cup National Championship … Were also 2012 Pennsylvania East State Champions and Region 1 Champions … Strong on the classroom as a member of the high honor roll every year … Received the Presidential Award for Academic excellence … Was also a 2012 National Society of High School Scholar … Received the honor of being a Cum Laude inductee in 2013.
