Mountain Hawks Tie Seton Hall 1-1

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh tied Seton Hall 1-1 on Sunday afternoon at the Ulrich Sports Complex. The contest was the Mountain Hawks' Pink Game presented by Lehigh Valley Topper Cancer Institute.

In the 22nd minute, Seton Hall's Nina Davis sent a cross to Adria Kitzinger who gave the Pirates a 1-0 lead through the first half.

Across the opening half, Seton Hall held a slim 5-3 margin in shots. Lehigh had a 4-1 advantage in corner kicks.

Lehigh had offensive momentum in the 58th minute, as Aminah Baruwa carried the ball down the field. Baruwa sent a pass to Tori Okorodudu who slid the ball beneath Seton Hall's goalkeeper, evening the score at 1-1 with her first career goal.

For the second half, Lehigh outshot the Pirates 5-1, while Seton Hall held a 3-2 advantage in corner kicks.

R'Reeyah Mabry-Francis got the starting nod in net, recording two saves. Seton Hall's Katherine Kleinsmith made three saves.

Lehigh (2-3-1) opens Patriot League play on Saturday, September 20, as it hosts Bucknell at 2 p.m.
