Dobosiewicz Scores Brace In 2-1 Win Over La Salle

PHILADELPHIA - Lehigh women's soccer secured its first victory of the 2025 campaign with a 2-1 win over Atlantic 10 foe La Salle on Wednesday night.

The first half was scoreless between the teams, with La Salle outshooting Lehigh 6-3. Corner kicks were knotted up at 3-3 for the opening 45.

La Salle got on the board first in the 56th minute as Justyce Hollenbach gave the Explorers a 1-0 lead.

In the 65th minute, Lehigh was awarded a penalty kick. Graduate student Faith Dobosiewicz connected to tie the game at 1-1.

Dobosiewicz struck again in the 82nd minute, giving Lehigh a 2-1 lead by completing her first career brace.

In the full 90 minutes, La Salle outshot Lehigh 15-6 and out-cornered the Mountain Hawks 12-4.

Senior goalkeeper Maggie Ousoujoglou got the start in net, recording one save. Lehigh subbed in R'Reeyah Mabry-Francis for the second half who made four saves. La Salle goalkeeper Mackenna Yaracs made two saves in the contest.
