BETHLEHEM, Pa. - In the first home contest of the 2025 season, Lehigh fell to Binghamton 2-1 on Sunday afternoon at the Ulrich Sports Complex.

The Bearcats struck early, with Paige Luke capitalizing on a one-versus-goalie opportunity to put Binghamton up 1-0 in the fourth minute.

In the 32nd minute, Lehigh was awarded a penalty kick for a foul in the box. Kat Pluck took the initial shot off the post, in which Cathryn Cunningham scored on the rebound to tie the game at 1-1.

Following halftime, in the 41st minute, Binghamton was awarded a penalty kick opportunity of its own. Megan Baker took the initial shot off the crossbar and Alexus Worrell followed up for the go-ahead goal

Senior goalkeeper Maggie Ousouljoglou played all 90 in net, making five saves. Binghamton's Rebecca Kessler recorded three saves.

Sophomore Summer Hill and first-year Savannah Conner led Lehigh with two shots apiece. The Mountain Hawks' best look of the game came in the 86th minute when Elliot Forney connected on a powerful shot from just outside the box.

Lehigh (0-2) is back in action on Wednesday at La Salle with opening kickoff slated for 7:30 p.m.
