Why Lehigh? “I chose Lehigh because of the school’s great academic reputation. I was also thrilled to have the opportunity to continue my golf career and I liked that the Lehigh golf team was competitive, but put school first.”
As a freshman … led Lehigh with a two-round score of 165 (84, 81) to finish third at the Kutztown Spring Invite … Mountain Hawks top finisher at Rutgers Invite with a 14th place finish (161 – 80, 81) … tied for eighth place with a score of 159 (81, 78) at the Bucknell Fall Classic … shot a 164 (85, 79) to place 26th at the Princeton Fall Invite … in high school … capped off scholastic career at the Maryland State Championships where she shot a round of 78 and tied for fifth … took second at the district tournament as a senior … qualified for the national tournament by placing second at the Junior Optimist with a round of 76 … took part in three Titleist Junior Tour events where she placed first two times and third once.
Personal: Daughter of Jim and Jane Fitzgerald … has a younger brother, James (14).
