Hall Shares 18-Hole Lead at MSU SoCal Spring Invitational

CAMARILLO, Calif. – The Lehigh women's golf team opened its spring break trip to California with a solid round of 304 Sunday at the MSU SoCal Spring Invitational at Sterling Hills Golf Club. Sophomore Alana Hall shot 72 and is tied for the individual lead as the Mountain Hawks sit in a tie for fourth place in a 15-team field.
The final four teams to tee off did not complete their opening rounds due to darkness.
Hall shot one over par 72, including five birdies in a torrid back nine 31, as one of five players tied for the 18-hole lead.
Sophomore Reese Hannon shot 75 and is tied for 14th place. Hannon carded three birdies and made an eagle on the par 4 12th hole.
First-year Alisia Ren is tied for 40th place after shooting 78 with one birdie. One stroke behind Ren is junior Stefania Fedun, who made one birdie and is tied for 50th place.
Rounding out Lehigh's entrant is first-year Bridget Yu, who shot 83 with two birdies and is tied for 72nd place.
Nebraska leads the team standings at 11 over par. The Cornhuskers were one of the teams that did not finish their rounds. CSU Bakersfield is second, five strokes behind Nebraska. Notre Dame sits in third place, six strokes behind, while Lehigh and Western Michigan are tied for fourth.
